We do our best to provide accurate estimates, but final pricing may vary based on the work performed. Here’s how we handle changes:

• If additional work arises, we’ll stop and communicate the updated pricing with you. If you choose to stop the work, you’ll only be charged for what’s already been completed.
• If the work ends up being less than estimated, we’ll adjust the price accordingly.

We strive to ensure fairness and transparency while maintaining a respectable and profitable operation.

Payment Terms

Here’s what you need to know about payments:

• Payment is due upon completion of the job unless other arrangements have been made in writing (e.g., via email). For larger projects, payment is due at the end of each workday.
• If there’s an issue with the service, please let us know immediately so we can address it. Open communication is key!
• If a payment fails, any discounts applied will be rescinded, and interest may be charged at 3% per month or the maximum allowed by law.
• Any fees related to non-payment, such as insufficient funds charges or collection costs, will be your responsibility, including a $750 administrative fee and additional legal costs if applicable.

Refunds and Cancellations

• Cancellations: You can cancel anytime. We just ask that you let us know at least a day in advance as a courtesy.
• Refunds: We normally don’t issue refunds unless there’s an error on our end. If that happens, we’ll correct it and make sure you’re refunded ASAP.

Limitation of Liability

We do our best to provide excellent service, but Spartan Junk Removal will not be held responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our website or services. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of data, profit, or business opportunities.

Force Majeure

Spartan Junk Removal will not be held liable for delays or failures to perform due to causes beyond our reasonable control. These include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, government actions, labor strikes, and utility interruptions.

Quantum Meruit and Payment Responsibility

Let’s talk about payment—specifically, the kind of situations where we’ve done the work, you’ve approved it, and now we’re all expecting the bill to be settled. Here’s how we handle those situations:

1. Approval Means Responsibility
   The person on-site who gives us the green light to start the job—whether it’s a contractor, project manager, or someone else acting as your representative—is considered authorized to make decisions on your behalf. Their approval confirms that you’re good with the scope of work, the price, and the payment terms. Once the job is done, that approval means the bill needs to be paid—no exceptions.
2. Fair Value for Our Work
   We believe in being paid fairly for the work we perform—that’s the principle behind something called Quantum Meruit. Simply put, when we haul your junk or clear out your space, you’re gaining a direct benefit from our services. It’s only fair that payment reflects the value of the work completed.
3. Acknowledging the Benefit
   When we remove your junk or complete a job you approved, you’ve already received the benefit of our service. Choosing not to pay after the work is done isn’t just unfair—it’s what the law refers to as unjust enrichment, and nobody wants to go down that road.
4. Let’s Talk if There’s an Issue
   If something about the job isn’t right, we want to hear about it as soon as possible—preferably right after the work is done. We’re committed to making things right, but this doesn’t mean you can skip paying your bill. We’ll address your concerns and find a fair solution.
5. What Happens If You Don’t Pay
   Not paying for approved work? That’s a problem. If a payment issue arises:
   • Any discounts applied to your bill will be removed.
   • Late fees or interest (3% per month or the maximum allowed by law) may be added.
   • We reserve the right to pursue legal action to recover what’s owed, including the fair value of our services under Quantum Meruit. This may include additional costs like collection fees and legal expenses.

Modifications to Terms

Spartan Junk Removal reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will take effect upon posting to this page. Continued use of our website or services after updates constitutes your agreement to the revised terms.

Customer Conduct

We expect all customers to treat our team with respect. Verbal abuse, threats, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in the termination of services without a refund.

Warranties

Our website and services are provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes, but is not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
